Obituary of Darquise Bertha Weaver

It is with great sadness that the family of Darquise Bertha Weaver announce her passing which occurred on Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre, Hampton, NB. Born in Thurso, QC on January 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Aurore (Binette) Stewart.

Darquise is survived by her son Lamont Weaver (Janet) of Toronto, ON; son-in-law Francis Morrison; brothers: Vernon Stewart (Donna) of Kingston, NB, Marc Stewart (Janet) of Hampton, NB and Marcel Stewart (Treva) of Titusville, NB; sister-in-law Marilyn Stewart; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents, Darquise was predeceased by her loving husband Clarence Weaver; daughter Robin Morrison; brothers Gerald Stewart and Oland Stewart; and sister Joycelynn Worden.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB where visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 4 to 7PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11:00AM from Trinity Anglican Church, Kingston. A private interment will take place in the spring at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Clifton Royal, NB.
