The accidental death of Ashley Dawn Richards occurred in Weyburn, Saskatchewan on August 24th, 2012. She is survived by her parents Thomas and Brenda Richards of Central Greenwich NB, three sisters Tina of Windsor Ontario, Tamara of Smith Falls, Ontario, Courtney at Home, two brothers Jesse of St Andrews and Brian at Home. Friend Ben Diprose of Hampton. Biological parents Bonnie Olsen and Richard Kirkpatrick, grandparents Marion Richards, Winnifred Redfern, Marianne Bryson (George), Richard Kirkpatrick (Margaret), Steve Olsen, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by grandmother Gloria Olsen and grandfather Russell Richards.
A memorial service will be held 10:00am, Saturday, September 8, 2012, at the Anglican Church of the Resurrection, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB with Archdeacon Vicars Hodge officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Oak Point, at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Reid's Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice. The entire Church family in the Parish of the Nerepis and St. John are grieving with your families at this time. Ashley was a vital young woman whose life had just begun. Her death leaves all of us feeling a part of your pain. We do stand with you in prayer at this time.

Ashley.....We are at a loss and trying to be strong for each other. You lite up any room u ever walked into, U carried this energy that ppl just needed and even though u had ur problems, U always put others first. Ashley My thoughts, and prayers go out to your FAMILY (and Twin sister....Which we both had in common, I too have a mirror twin and how we just connected and knew why) and to your REAL FRIENDS. Our hearts are heavy and ur so deeply missed, But you will NEVER be forgotten. From our late night laughs, to you and Sarah sneaking downstairs to have ur slumber sleep overs, to eating Zoodles with me right out of the can (Oh my pregnancy cravings, U ate what I ate just to see how it all tasted)....To ur private calls to us, and how u wanted to come back and see us.....Oh Ashley, I have great memories that I will keep near to me. You were in SK and us in Ontario but we always inboxed and spoke on the phone....How u brought Tamara and I to start talking (I promise u this Baby Girl, I will met ur sister and I will hug her so tight, She is YOUR OTHER HALF, A bond no other has but twins) because if I knew seeing June 7th-8th 2012 was the last time I ever would see your bright face, I wouldnt have let that hug go...Ashley if this baby is a girl (I find out Sept. 5th) I am honouring you by naming her after YOU. I love you so very much, Watch over us all..........I know you are!!!! For every tear I cry, I also know one day I will see you and be smiling....you were suddenly taken from us.....Rest in Peace my sweet sweet Angel.....Tamara, Thank-You for always keeping in touch with US, We will never let that stop...Brenda Thank-You for calling me, We so got this....Anything you need....we are here. Lets bring our girl home where she belongs.....to her family and forever in our hearts!
Sarah's missing you so very much, she looked up to you, as if u were her big sister. Everything in her room, reminds her of you, and she now scrolls though her photo's she has of you here....She couldn't wait for your 19th Birthday, and how you were going to sneak her in to celebrate with you.... She cries herself to sleep now knowing she will never see her best friend again, but she knows you are SAFE.....and one day you will greet her at those Golden gates. R.I.P. Angel....xoox *_*

There are simply no words for the pain and loss you are feeling ~ just know that there are many people who are holding all of you up in prayer and sending love your way as you navigate through the days and weeks to come. I am sorry for your loss. Ashley was a great girl, she made a big impression within our family and meant the world to my brother Ben Diprose, her fiance.
When she came to Ontario with my brother to visit I could truly tell they were very happy. She was excited to meet the family and was talking about how happy she was to be engaged and to plan her wedding.
I am hoping that you find it in your heart to understand the love Ashley had for my brother and let her remain with him as I know this is what she would want.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who knew Ashley and everyones life who has been hurt and effected by her loss.
May you RIP Ashley. In the short time we met I knew you were someone special you will remain in our thoughts and heart forever.

,To Ash's family, We have been friends with Ashley & Ben for a few years
now. She was a polite, caring ,funloving and beautiful person. Her beauty
went beyond her skin. We love her and Ben like our own. We spent many
hours talking and sharing our lifes we each other as we women love to do.
Even though I am old enough to be her mom, we connected. Then maybe, that is why. We have thought of her daily since I heard her name on the
late news. I know you have a lot to deal with at this time, but now that I
know your names I will include you in my prayers for her. I will never forget

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Ashley's death! No doubt this has to be a parents worst nightmare! I have very pleasant memories of Ashley when she attended Vacation Bible School some years ago. She always had a bright smile and a big hug that melted my heart every time. I know that this is a very dark time for your family but know that there is a community of people that genuinely care about you and are standing behind you through this difficult time. I am praying for you daily!

Ashley... you were such a good friend to me <3 I'll never forget how we always used to walk around the halls together, and we would just talk about random things. People always told us that we looked younger than we were, and we always hated that! Now I have to go through that all alone :( I think about you all the time, and the shelter ALWAYS reminds me of you because that's the last place I saw you before you moved back... I love you so much babygirl, and when I heard about your death I was heartbroken. You will always be in my heart, I will never forget you. I miss you so much, words can't even describe.
