Margaret Uddenberg of Quispamsis passed away June 12, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born May 19, 1939 in Montreal Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Phyllis (Squibb) Bradley.
She is survived by her four children, Kathy English (Lloyd) of Hampton, Donna Fry (Jeremy) of Bloomfield, Bill Bedard ( Lisa) of Montreal, Susan Wardle (Kevin) of Quispamsis; one sister Freda Salagan (Larry) of Quebec; one brother Terrence Bradley (Marilyn) of BC; her Aunt Dot, several nieces and nephews and seven grandchildren.
A special thank you to the SJRH palliative care staff for their compassion and kindness in the care of our mother and for us her children during our mother’s final days. It shall never be forgotten.
As per Margaret’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. The arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. As Margaret loved children and animals, memorials may be made to Hampton Alliance for Lifelong Learning or the SPCA Animal Rescue League. To Margaret's family,
I had the honor and priviledge of knowing your mother at Sullivan Business College in Lachine, Quebec in our teenage years. In fact we became school buddies. We hung out together and shared happy times at my home, 7 Beaconsfield Boul. in Beaconsfield. Eventually she married my first boyfriend, Gerry Bedard. Your mother and I were quite close, you could say sisters. She even lent me her bridemaid dress for my sister Marie's wedding. So many found memories shared with her and our gang. Reading the Gazette this morning, many memories surfaced. She was so kind, so human and had a heart of gold and even brought her dog at 7 Beaconsfield to share with us. Even though we lost contact over the years, your mother had a special place in my heart and it will be forever hers.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Just wanted to send my condolences. Our thoughts are with you at this time. I know my mom has beening missing Margaret for many years only to find her again and lose her. I remember growing up and your mom being like a second mom to me. I remember the fun times we had together. You guys were like cousins. Cherish the moments you have and truly appreciate life.
