Ralph, when I am onstage I look to my right and I still see you there and I still hear that Long Black Train rolling down the line. God love you Buddy, you will certainly be missed by all the people who had the privilege of knowing you and listening to your special brand of music. Our condolences go out to you Lynn and your family in this very trying time in your lives. People and situations change, but memories remain the same. Especially for me, the days on the Fundy Trail with you Lynn, Ralph and Bob Burgess, it was nothing less than MAGIC. Betty & Denny James ( The Other Man In Black )

Lynn and family ~ I was so sorry to hear of Ralph's passing although at Fred Shaw's Crimestoppers' Show Saturday night (when Fred broke down) we were informed that Ralph was not well at all. Just in case you had not heard, Fred said a special tribute to Ralph which brought tears to my eyes and I am sure touched the hearts of everyone who had heard Ralph and Lynn. He is out of his pain now and in the hands of his higher power. May your memories carry you through this difficult and know that all who knew Ralph and Lynn will be thinking of Ralph. RIP Ralph, you will be greatly missed.

Ralph, what a privilege to be on the same stage with you. Such a gifted and talented man. I was so happy to be part of your CD, and that you sang my song "Sunday Morning Coming Down". All the times on the Fundy Trail, with you, me and Denny James. I will always be thankful to have known you as a musician, but mostly as my friend. What a band God has now. To Lynn and family, you are always in my prayers.

We were very deeply saddened to hear of Ralph's passing. He was a very soft-spoken and humble man with such tremendous talent, and we feel very fortunate to have known him. He was our favorite at all of the local country shows, indeed he WAS the show. We loved the CD that he and Lynn made, and kept anxiously awaiting a second one. Ralph will be so greatly missed by all of us who loved his music, and his very bass "Hello Everybody". Our deepest sympathy to the family of the only real "Man in Black".
